Last winter we hosted girls fastpitch teams from 12 states !!! ALL SportZone fastpitch tournaments are ASA A Northern National Qualifiers - paid berth**!! And… ALL SportZone fastpitch tournaments award ASA Points that go toward qualifying for the ASA A Nationals! 3 Game Guarantee. Individual awards for 1st and 2nd place teams. Roster limit of 15 players. All games are played on SZ’s climate-controlled astroturf softball field with 35 foot roof!!! Semi-Final & Championship game – no new inning starts after 1 hour, 10 minutes of play. All other games - no new inning starts after 1 hour of play. ASA rules. We have eliminated the “foul-out” rule. Nine-player defense. Teams may bat their entire roster if they wish. Free defensive substitution. Private pre-game team warm-up areas. Spectator areas behind outfield fence – bleachers or bring you own chair. Each team will have free use of The SportZone hitting tunnels and pitching areas for the duration of the softball tournament. No gate fees for players and spectators under age 6. Ages 6-12: discounted price. Spectators may be required to wear wristbands. Final tournament schedules may not be available until the Wednesday before the tournament. Game ball is yellow leather cover RIF level 10 softball that plays nearly identical to a real ball. Tournament play can begin Friday night at 9:30pm. Championship game will be on Sunday afternoon.
